They had to use this to keep the dirt from caving into the area where the pipe was. It worked to keep the dirt out but the sand kept comming in from underneath. They had to keep digging it out and finnaly got the pipe in.

They had to build a road out into the middle of the pond. The road allowed them to take the big trackhoe out and dig down deep enough to install the pipe.

They had to remove about 6 feet of the black muck before they could install the pipe. We had to build the burm on 5 to keep it from spilling onto the 5th fairway.

They were initially trying to dig the pond out with a small track hoe. It was working well untill it got stuck for a few hours. They lost all hydraulics because they sucked the mud into the hydraulic motor air vent. They decided to build the road after they got the track hoe out.

Putting in the first part of the vault for the pumps.

This is the pipe that runs to the pump vault over by the old pump house. The water will flow throught the self cleaning screen and pipe to the vault where the pumps will be.

This is the valut that the pump heads will pump from. We will build the area up with rock and put a slab of cement in to set the new pump station on.

All of the mud that was removed from the pond is hopefully going to be spread out on the right side of 5. We are hoping to raise the area enough to drain the water in that location to the pond.

The hardest part of the irrigation system is finaly complete. It was a struggle to get the wet well in but Parker Pacific did a great job. I have added multiple pictures with descriptions under them through out the project. We will be leveling and fixing the locations that were damaged around the pond through out next week. We will wait to fix the area on the right of 5 just before the pond and the 4th fairway area. We still have a couple large pieces of equipment that need to come back in and do some work.
