Whenever there is a frost delay it keeps us off the course mostly as well as the golfer. We have had plans ruined many times by frost delays. When we set up the plan for the week we try and anticipate frost but sometimes it just happens.

During a week that we know will be frosted we prepare for it. We will order preventative maintenance parts and work on equipment. Just today we rebuilt the carburetor for our workman and did all the preventative maintenance on it. We will usually get about half the equipment done during frost delays during the fall and winter. We try and do just enough equipment that we can get out on the course as soon as it thaws.

We also do projects during frost delays in the taller grass. We usually can get rough and even fairway projects done in frost. The taller the grass the less likely it is to be damaged by our presence.
