Getting lowered in the wet well

He had to use a air line because there was not enough room for air tanks.

He was lowered down and getting ready for the giant plug.

We finally got the wet well pumped down so we could start to plumb the pipe.

He is just getting ready to pull the plug out and let the wet well refill

It was kind of amazing how much steam was coming off the diver while he was down there.

The pipe is now plumbed and he is coming up for the last time. Which we actually had to send him back in one more time to collect a PVC fitting.

When we pulled the plug we had some debris come out of the pipe in the wet well. The diver was kind enough to go out and check that our screen was still in it's original location and did not come off somehow.

We had a diver go into the wet well to plug the 24" incoming water pipe. We had to plumb a pipe that is connected to the self cleaning screen but we needed to pump the water out first. It was quite the process and we took alot of pictures to show how it all unfolded. Hopefully we never have to send another diver down there.
